Wave Entertainment Pty Limited was founded in 1999 by two Australian brothers, Matthew and David Gee. The company was founded with the specific mission of creating quality pre-school television entertainment with global appeal. David and Matthew (with their brother Andrew) founded Asia's largest licensing agency, Wave Licensing International in 1996. Wave Licensing has offices in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. Wave Entertainment has built a full studio facility in Artarmon, NSW, Australia.
A state-of-the-art editing suite has been built to edit all of the company's productions in-house.
